EMSEP Programme

The Erasmus Mundus – European Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology (EMSEP) – scholarship and exchange programme has ended. However, we hope interested students would consider applying to one of the international programmes offered by universities in English. The application period for the European Master in Sport & Exercise Psychology is now open until 31th May 2018. The European Master in Sport and Exercise Psychology from the University of Thessaly in Greece is a postgraduate program with internationally renowned teaching staff and visiting professors from all over the world. The program with international students and the experience of the competitive “Erasmus Mundus program” provides mobility opportunities for studying abroad and obtaining a double degree. Students get high quality theoretical training and practical experience in the fast growing field of Exercise and Sport Psychology. The program places emphasis on independent and cooperative learning, and the development of communication skills,in a warm, friendly, and caring environment.

The English-language M.Sc. Psychology in Sport and Exercise targets graduates with a bachelor degree in sport science or psychology. Students should be interested in scientific thinking and working (e.g. conducting experiments) and theory- and research-based practical application (e.g. coaching of athletes and teams). Students are educated towards an integrated degree of sport and exercise psychology.
